Antonio's High School Graduation Party

Family and friends gathered at my parent's home a few weeks backs to celebrate Antonio's graduation from high school. Lots of food and fun!

Father's Day 2013

We celebrated Father's Day in Maryland this past weekend and it was great. Our family got together over brunch and gifts and smiles. It was awesome to see the 3 older cousins playing and Mason just taking it all in and I'm sure he can't wait to be a bit bigger to join in on the fun too.

We got Nonno Nicky a fun little hammock and everyone loved it, even baby Mason.

My brother Scott and his boys. Scott was pretending to sleep while Chase and Mason wanted no part of it. They are so adorable!

After brunch and some fun with the hammock, Anthony and Scott took the 3 older kids outside for some water fun. Thanks so Zio Scotty for supplying the water balloons!

Love this picture of my mom and dad with the grandkids, they couldn't be happier!

Happy Birthday Nonna!

Today is my Nonna's birthday. A great, great lady whom is missed everyday since she's been gone but a day doesn't go by that I don't think about her and all that she was in our lives.

Can't wait to be at my second home in Mesagne soon!

Sofia's Kindergarten Closing Ceremony

So this happened almost 2 weeks ago and I can't even begin to tell you where the time has gone in between. But it's been a lot of good things and lots to share.

But first...Sofia's Kindergarten ceremony. Which was The.Cutest.Thing.EVER. All the kids were dressed up and so adorable, each had to get up front of the church (in front of all the guests) and have a few lines to read. Sofia was awesome, she was just so adorable and had so much fun with her class that morning.

Receiving her certificate of Kindergarten completion. So cute!

And what's a ceremony without a reception following right after?!? These girls never turn down a sweet on a special occasion.

Sofia and her very wonderful Kindergarten teachers whom we will miss next year but hopefully make a point to stop in to visit from time to time. They were really so amazing with her and the class and it just makes you so happy as a parent to send your daughter each day to a classroom with caring individuals such as these ladies.

Nonno Mario and Nonna Maria came for the ceremony too! Pictures afterwards at the reception with the girls.

Mama and her girls. Love these little faces so so much!

Today

Today was Sofia's last day of Kindergarten and I still can't believe it. Tomorrow will be there closing ceremony where I am sure to go through my fair share of tissues. I mean, she has to read something and there will be singing. Enough to make a grown man cry. She's excited for summer and this morning even said "the next time I have a regular day of school I'll be in First Grade!" I almost fainted. How is it possible I have a First Grader!?!

They had a fun last week though and while she missed one day due to being in Maryland for Zio Antonio's graduation ceremony, she was happy to be a part of the rest of the week with her schoolmates. Each day was something different and today was the one day I remembered to take a picture with my camera and not my phone (where things rarely get downloaded and uploaded onto the blog). Today was backwards today, super easy if you ask me but Sofia loved it. How simple is it to just put your shirt of backwards, I do it half the time without even thinking anyway.

Oh, and I bought the girls fedoras. I know, crazy. But how adorable do they look in them?! My little hipsters.

Antonio graduates from high school!

We were in Maryland earlier this week for a quick trip so I could attend Antonio's high school graduation ceremony. The girls were bummed not to go but with well over 500 kids graduating, they wouldn't have been able to sit still for as long as they would have needed to.

Yes, that's what 500+ kids look like.

My brother is just about 6 feet 5 inches so he's not difficult to pick out of crowd especially when they were standing.

So serious about to receive his diploma.

Woohoo! No more books, no more teachers dirty looks..oh wait, he still has college to get through!

Happy little Mason!

Happy parents to have their last kid finished high school. Now it's time for college!

Mason was the only grandkid to make it to the ceremony, lucky little guy!

Love this picture! Congratulations to Antonio!

Girls weekend!

Anthony was out of town this past weekend and so the girls and I had the a fun girls' only time. There were a couple birthday parties thrown in, along with breakfast with friends Saturday morning, dinner with other friends Saturday night and then a lazy Sunday morning of recuperating. It was awesome.

Of course, there was also reading...

Olivia practicing her cutting skills...

(I love that profile!)

and pedicures!

Of course everyone was very happy once daddy returned! We had a Graduation party to go to as a family Sunday afternoon but then it was home for some good ol'family time. Which for Anthony and the girls consisted of funny videos on the iPad.
