Gearing up for Christmas at Casa Pitocco

The girls and I were in MD last week for a couple days getting into the Christmas spirit with my family. We did a lot of baking ranging from the traditional sugar cookies, chocolate-dipped almond cookies and peppermint bark to our Italian favorites of pizzelle and bocconotti. We sat by the Christmas tree listening to Christmas carols, watched Christmas cartoons, even did some shopping at the Eastern Shore Outlets and went to Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park.

We even got to see some snow. How's that for Christmas spirit!?!
