After the procession, dinner and a walk through the villa on each night of the festival, we go to le giostre, the carnival rides. In years past, Sofia has never wanted to get on any of the bigger rides but this year she did a complete 180 and wanted to go on every ride possible. Once she went on one ride, Olivia joined in on the fun too. I guess she wanted to make sure her big sister was having fun before she spent any time in line.
Sofia and Olivia went on their first roller coaster this festa called the Caterpillar. Sofia loved it, Olivia not so much. It's very blurry but they're all in the back car, my dad rode with Olivia and that's his hand waving in the air.
Now it was Mommy's turn to get on with Olivia.
Nonno Nicky and Nonna Lisa, how many of these festivals have they been to together?!?
Olivia loved the swings! She was so serious when she first got on and then really got into it and smiled the whole time! Bums me out that I don't have a picture to prove it but the memory is still there.
The famous Tagada! A crazy ride where your sitting along the outside of a dish that is spinning VERY fast. And you don't have any protection. AND there are guys that get up in the middle to show off. It's hysterical. And yes, for the record, I have been on this ride before.

Anthony and I, a rare moment where one of us wasn't either on a ride with one of the girls or standing nearby to give high five's as they circled by.
Happy little girls. Thankfully we have awhile to wait before either of them are driving a real car. Especially one that has 2 steering wheels in the front seat!
