We have amassed a decent collection of Christmas books and I love that when we begin decorating for the holiday, the girls run up to bring down our books too. They will sit and sift through them and I love catching them randomly sitting by the tree and reading to themselves or their little brother.
Tonight they each took a turn reading a book and my heart nearly exploded sitting back and watching them together. When it was Mario's turn to read, because you know he wasn't going to miss out and knew he was up, Olivia read each line and he repeated her.
