Morning trip to Assateague Island

The kids and I enjoyed a few days in Bethany Beach with Nonna Lisa and Nonno Nicky to start our summer fun. One morning was perfect for a drive to Assateague Island to see what we could see.

First Day and Last Day of Kindergarten

So many emotions ending our school year the way we did but happy for my little man as he completes Kindergarten. We missed out on the traditional last-day-of-kindergarten festivities but the school did an amazing job trying to make it just as special for the students and their families. Mario was so happy to see his teachers and friends one last time before summer vacation in a graduation parade they organized at school. It was simple, brought a smile to his face and there were still tears on my part as he moves on up!
