Change is good

So, it's time. The girls want to paint their room. Move over pink, teal is the new color in town. They started Marie Kondo-ing their room with some guidance from me. Taking things down from the wall resulted in some things to toss, some things to store and some things to donate.  I had to go through before they got everything down to snap up some memories. They may want to keep some things the way they are, but they may not too. And that is something I'm going to just have to accept.

My little girls are growing up.

Little memories all over their room. The pink pendant I made for Sofia's Fancy Nancy 5th birthday party. Each of them have a shelf dedicated to first photos, hand or foot print in clay and a photo of their baptism along with some little items that mean a lot to me.

They have a ton of books in their room and along one wall and a short bookshelf with this READ sign I made for their room. I also had to photograph the valance that I made and that I'm sure we won't be keeping. Won't match teal and I'm sure they'd like to pick out a new fabric that I can turn into a valance.

And the random shelves of souvenirs and photos.

The wall stickers will be going down and out. They were so sweet and I'll always remember putting them in their room as a surprise to them and them loving it. They have been in this corner of their room near a bunch of floor pillows and stuffed animals and I'd often find them curled up there with a book or toy.

And then this little guy sneaks in to check himself out. Cats and mirrors, it's too much fun.
