Sofia turned 13 yesterday and what a unique birthday experience this was for her. Since we are quarantined in the house, we weren't able to be with others but thankfully technology is on our side and she had video calls with family and friends. I still decorated and baked with Olivia and Mario.
Siblings wrapped her gifts which Sofia loved receiving.
And there cake. Family, friends, decorations and cake. Simpler times call for simpler measures but it was still a sweet day for our teenager.
Teenager. I'm going to have to get used to saying that word.
