We had a great time on Saturday celebrating Sofia turning 5 with our families. So nice to have had everyone together for Sofia.
Of course there was food, lots of food. I made a yellow cake for the occasion and frosted it in pink and decorated with a rainbow of M&Ms and halved mini marshmallows for the clouds. I think Sofia loved it!

and after lunch it was time to sing! 3 times. Once in English, once in Italian and once for Zio Scotty, his birthday was the next day - an April Fool's baby.
Olivia was so good for all the birthday celebrations, totally happy for her sister and loving all the people around us. Here she's singing Happy Birthday to her sister.

Time for presents...Sofia's favorite part and she was patient enough to allow us to wait until after cake and dessert to open gifts. A big thank you to our families for celebrating 5 years of Sofia with us!

ReplyDeleteThanks Em! It was far from perfect, but thank you for saying so. It was a lot of fun and my little 5-year-old loved it. You should have heard them talking about the streamer and banner - "it's beautiful" who knew?!
