Nonno Mario, the park and a caterpillar
These are some pictures from last week I meant to post and then got swept up into the Easter weekend frenzy. Better late than never I suppose.
Nonno Mario came to visit the girls one morning last week and after his visit the 3 of us took a walk in the cool air and ended up at the park. Place was deserted which was a nice change of pace for us and the girls roamed about as they pleased and had some fun before it was time to head home for lunch.
The walk was tons of fun with the girls playing shadow tag some of the time and then collecting leaves, flowers and rocks.
A little breezy out especially on the slides and swings. Only stops them for a minute though and then they get back out there.
The walk back home was uneventful except for a caterpillar we came across that they were completely fixated on. He (or she) had flipped on it's back and was actually crawling along on his back. We did the noble thing (or so I thought) and flipped him or her over and it immediately curled up into a ball. Basically, it wanted nothing to do with us and told us in so many motions, to be on our way.
