A cousin of Anthony's in Italy owns and runs his very own bakery and we had the privilege of getting a tour of his factory. Alberto started the bakery in 1978 and told us of the early days when he did everything from creating the recipes, baking in the ovens, the accounting logistics, meeting with possible clients and promoting his business. While he still has his hands in everything that makes a company run successfully, his two sons along with a handful of trusted employees have his back so he can enjoy the fruits (err, breads) of his labor.

I love Alberto!! He makes the best pastries. I want to take a tour of the laboratorio next time we visit too. How cool.
