Fun with Friends

The lovely Staley family came in to visit us this weekend and as always, we had so much fun with them all. Their two kids are amazing and were so great with the girls and Mario. As we came back in the house after seeing them off this afternoon, Sofia says "I wish they could stay longer." To which Olivia replies "That was fun." Signs of a great weekend with great friends, happy kids.

After spending some time around the house and the kids playing outside, we decided to head over to a favorite place of ours, Linvilla Orchards, for a little more outdoor fun. We've been really lucky since we returned from Italy with some pretty spectacular weather so trying to soak up all this good fresh air as long as we can. So, off we went to walk through the Farmer's Market and take in all the fresh produce (and come out of there with bakery items for snacks), play at the playground with the kids and feed the ducks.

Mario took turns snoozing in the Ergo with Daddy to checking out everything around him. We heard no complaints from him the whole time. Such a great baby!

A favorite for the girls at Linvilla, the maze!

After BBQing for dinner we headed over to another favorite spot in Havertown, Koffmeyer's! Best ice cream and now I'm a huge fan of their waffle cones dipped in chocolate and sprinkles. Delish! The kids enjoyed it too!

Breakfast this morning with the kids. How stinking cute are they?! Mario loved getting in with the big kids too.

While visiting, Katie accepted her ALS Ice Bucket challenge which is all over Facebook. The videos are amazing! Katie so generously nominated me to accept the challenge as well. Proud to say that I took it and we shot the video tonight. Stay tuned!

Love that our kids had so much fun together!

Funny face picture!

Friends for 29 years. CRAZY! First of all, does that make us old?! No, I didn't think so. It just makes us blessed. Love her so much!

We tried to reenact a picture taken when we were 8 at my brother's birthday party.

The famous Chuck E Cheese picture, our 1st communion together and Senior Prom. Just a few of the many memories I have with this truly awesome friend.
