Mario Luca turned 9 months last week and here are some of the adorable things he's doing these days:
We clap, like all the time and for everything. We sing a clapping song in Italian and on cue Mario begins clapping away. Or we'll say "Yay!" to something marvelous someone did in the house and he starts clapping.
And he's waving "Ciao, Ciao!" He loves it. Thinks he's pretty darn special when he does it too and looks around making sure we see that he's waving. One morning daddy went to get him from his crib and he was still a little whiney so mommy came up and he stuck his arms out to me and he turned and waved ciao, ciao to daddy. Funny and he doesn't even realize it.
He's also crawling everywhere, has been since 7 and a half months really. Pulls himself to standing pretty quickly and just began cruising along the couch or a chair. Mommy is going to have to keep her running shoes on all the time soon I think.
