Strawberries were ripe and ready to be picked this morning with friends at Linvilla Orchards. After a brief hayride, we were off on a strawberry-picking adventure, which my little berry lovers enjoying it all. Each armed with their own quart container, their hands were ready to pluck up "only the bright red strawberries." Sofia liked picking the small, red berries while Olivia opted for the larger, red but we came home with plenty to last...the rest of the week. We really like strawberries around here!
It was fun watching the kids have fun outdoors doing something so natural. Linvilla is great with all the fruit and veggies they offer to Pick-Your-Own and it's such a great experience for the little ones.
Sofia didn't quite make as many strawberries in her container because she was to busy nibbling on them.

After a visit to the playground AND then to feed the goats, ducks, chickens AND a stop in at the bakery, it was time to fuel up for the ride home. Sweaty, dirty and totally hungry for some yummy food. A perfect combination of fun.
