We arrived to Anthony's family home in Abruzzo just before dinner time and Nonno Mario was waiting outside for us. Girls were all smiles and very excited to be there, and to be done with our five-hour car ride. After dinner we went outdoors for a bit to pick some figs, my favorite! Nonno Mario was very excited to show the girls the fig trees and the girls were very excited to help pick.
