After spending our first two mornings in Abruzzo with Nonna Linda, we were on our way to Mesagne, Puglia. A 5 hour car drive later and we were there...Via Cimabue. Home Sweet Home. Girls were welcomed back by our neighbors who are really more like family and with whom it never seems a year passes since the last time we spent together. I also think the house is happy to have us there too, little feet running around, giggles echoing off the 15+ plus ft ceilings and signs of life everywhere you look.
Happy to be in Mesagne, our home away from home.
First spot to get re-acquainted with...the comfy leather chairs ideal for little bodies to lay across to lounge and read. And when they're not occupying them, it's a perfect spot to pull up a footstool and take out my own book and relax.
