More from our Longwood Gardens adventure
So much fun on our special family adventure yesterday to Longwood Gardens. We love it there and it's been years since our last visit so everything fell right into place for a visit. I had won a silent auction prize at a fundraiser last Spring to Longwood Gardens that was about to expire the end of this month and it was for two admission tickets. Children 4 and under get in for free so we decided before Sofia turns 5 later this month to go while we had the opportunity to go for "free." Yay! So off we went right after mass AND during Olivia's usual nap time.
The girls were so good and even though we did a lot of walking we did only get a handful of complaints..."my legs are tired" "pick me up." And that was just from me!
The conservatory there was beautiful and we almost didn't go in since we wanted to spend as much time outdoors as possible. But so glad we went and it was like we were outdoors anyway. AND it's orchid month right now and one was more beautiful than the other.
Olivia was amazed that these flowers were bigger than her!
A little dance at the little water fountain...
I loved these lanterns. Olivia and Sofia said they reminded them of the lanterns from Tangled. We still have Rapunzel on the mind around our house, they both love that story and movie.
Kisses for Daddy!
My little flower.
Playing shadow tag.
Ciao from the Palumbi family!!!
Loved this picture...girls fell asleep almost immediately once we left. They had so much fun running around and checking everything out and it was just such a beautiful day...all that fresh air really tired them out!
