We've had some snow lately which has put me even more into the Christmas spirit. Something about the blanket of white amongst Christmas lights and smiling faces. Love it. I don't like when it gets all icy or slushy, but you have to take the good with the bad.
Anyway, girls had some fun getting out in the snow and playing. They made a snowgirl with daddy all decked out with a frilly pink scarf and some purple hair. Don't all snowgirls have purple hair?!?
They missed a day of school too which was so cute to hear the squeals coming from Sofia. It was Olivia's day off of school anyway but she was very happy to spend it with her sister. They played inside and out, watched a Christmas show, did some crafts, mommy made a big pot of chicken soup and all was right in our world.
Oh and there was painting. Give my girls some paint and they're happy little people.
Sofia had to paint some things for her Brownie meeting this week too so there was more of a purpose behind it then just giving them something to do while I made dinner.
