Sofia and I met up with Trish and Ocean this morning and headed over to Buy Buy Baby since I had never been. Over the last couple of weeks Sofia has been saying "Choo Choo" so I thought if I could find a train for her there I would get her one. As we strolled up and down the aisles we eventually came across a train that Sofia loved and was excited about. Unfortunately for me, we ended up passing something that she liked much better...Elmo. I have never been a fan of Elmo. I don't like his voice and I don't like that he always speaks in the third person. "Elmo hungry"..."Elmo happy"...Lisa annoyed.
As fate would have it, Sofia tossed the train to the ground and clutched Elmo to her chest. She would not let him go and we ended up bringing him home with us. Needless to say, today was all about Elmo in the house. She napped with him, sat with him while we read, and carried him up the steps to bed.

Molly in the same boat too. Molly no like Elmo, but Nate LOVE Elmo, so Molly learning to live with him. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Molly. I had high hopes that Sofia would shun him like her mother AND father...as long as she doesn't get interested in Barney. Then we are going to have big problems!
