Our hearts are in Italy

Thoughts and prayers to all those affected in Italy by the devastating earthquake early this morning in L'Aquila, Abruzzo.




As you know, Anthony's family is from Abruzzo and this recent tragedy struck close to home for us. Thankfully, his family is safe and there was no major damage in their town. I took the above picture in the Fall of 2006 on our drive from Teramo to Rome. It is a picture of the Gran Sasso from the autostrada A24 that passes alongside L'Aquila.
