Thanksgiving Day we were at my in-laws and prior to lunch, the guys were in the yard harvesting the persimmon tree. They must have picked over 500 of the plump, juicy fruit! Sofia had a great time watching her Daddy, Nonno Mario and Uncle Dan picking the fruit off the tree, especially since there was a basket involved. Of course, they needed the basket for the picking but she got away with it several times.
Oh how I wish our persimmons were that small we can't reach any of ours. What fun. Now what will you do with all of those????
ReplyDeleteMy in-laws gave a whole crate to my mom and crates to their friends. I told them I would sit on Ardmore Avenue and sell them for them! They are so delicious!
