Sunday Funday at Linvilla Orchards!
Even with temps in the mid-80s today, we set out for a favorite Fall activity - pumpkin picking at Linvilla Orchards with our good friends, The Tropiano's. The girls and the daddies went through a corn maze while the mommies did some catching up, in a somewhat shady spot. Olivia was not as happy about the maze as the big girls were, but she made it through with Anthony and off to do the next fun thing at Linvilla.
How adorable are these girls? And they get along so well together too.
At the playground we ran into some friends from school and did a lot of running around.
Then it was off to feed the farm animals. Well, not the horse anyway. I don't think he's too happy about his sign.
Lastly, it was time to pick out some over-priced pumpkins! Linvilla is great and we go often for all the fun things they have to do, but I do think it's a bit pricey. Nonetheless, the girls helped Anthony pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving.
Look who else we met up with at Linvilla - Simon and Zia Paola were there too! Yay for a pumpkin picture with the cutie cugini!
I'm sure I'll take the girls one more time to Linvilla this month and hopefully the next time we go it's a little more like Fall and not Summer. Seemed strange to be doing a Fall activity all the while sweating because it was so hot out. Didn't bother the girls at all though, they were happy to be there and spend time with family and friends!

So fun!! Now you know how we feel down here in Florida when we are picking pumpkins and stringing up christmas lights in our shorts :)
ReplyDeleteHa, I know now Emily! It was so odd to me but the girls didn't seem to care.
