Township Day

Under perfect fall skies this morning, we celebrated Haverford Township Day. There was a parade fully equipped with firetrucks, politicians and candy! Anthony and I walked a lot while the girls were completely comfortable in their little red wagon and they had the best time people-watching.

Sofia was not as fond of the firetrucks blaring their sirens. Olivia loved it.

After the parade passed, we walked down to another area of town where there were vendors galore, a couple of bands set up, food tents, bounce gyms and hundreds and hundreds of people.

There was even a small Mummers band playing which both Sofia and Olivia really loved! Not being from this area, I had no idea who or what the Mummers were 9 years ago, but I love them now! I'm determined to get down to the Mummer's Parade one of these years.

Champion Daddy and definitely the winner of the best daddy award for wheeling the wagon all around town - literally all. around. town.

Enjoying their pumpkin cookies from Testa's Bakery, the girls love them some sprinkles!

Olivia's balloon didn't last too long as it made an escape literally half way home. She was very sad, but luckily she still had some of her pumpkin cookie left to make her smile.
