Buon Compleanno Nonno Mario!

Yesterday we celebrated my father-in-law's birthday with lunch at my in-law's house. We feasted on gnocchi, sausages and meatballs and of course, yummy cake. Sofia spent some time with her cugino, Baby Simon, who is getting so big and cuter each time we see him.

We have had a couple of days of wonderful weather and yesterday was no exception. Sofia was excited to be outdoors for a bit before and after lunch and I am sure she is looking forward to getting in the pool at my in-laws this summer. Simon may be even old enough for her to have a little buddy to splash around with in the water!
