After a 5-hour car drive up the Adriatic Coast of Italy, we arrived in the small hillside town of Garrano Basso in the region of Abruzzo, where Anthony's parents are both from. Anthony's 87-year-old Nonna Linda was there to greet us along with his mom. Even though they had both seen Sofia a couple weeks prior, they were excited to see her again and see how much she had grown.
At this point in our trip, we have one week left of our Italy vacation and then it's back home for us. One week left to pack in as much fun, family and friends as possible and make the most of our time here.
