One of my New Year's goals for myself was to be in more pictures with Anthony and the girls. I could use the self-timer, ask people to take pictures or even do the old favorite - holding-the-camera-out-in-front-shot just to make sure I was in more pictures. I don't want to be the subject of the photo by any means, I have two (I mean three) cuties who are really good at holding that role, I just wanted to be documented more.
Our bedtime routine since Olivia was born has been that I read to Olivia and Anthony reads to Sofia before they go to sleep. The other night we surprised Anthony by the three of us getting in our bed to read Olivia's goodnight book 'Guess how much I love you.' I made Anthony get the camera because I wanted to make sure this was one of those moments to be captured. I'm ok with my face not showing in the picture, actually, I'm more than ok with it. I do love that both girls are looking at the book, listening to me tell the story and cuddling. It was one of those priceless moments for me as a mom!
