Meeandro

Our good friends, Alessandra and Leandro were visiting from Italy this past week and to say that Sofia was excited would be a major understatement. Sofia sees them perhaps twice a year and asks for them just about everyday. They have made quite the impression on our little girl. Sofia loves "Meeandro" (what she calls him) and would not leave his side each time we were with them. I don't know what we're going to do when Olivia gets older and undoubtedly falls in love with him as well!

We spent New Year's Eve at our house for dinner and a movie with them and had a great time. A relaxing evening with great friends was the perfect way to kick off the new year. Over the weekend, we took them down to Annapolis where they were able to meet my family and had a delicious lunch (grazie mamma!). Afterwards, we took a drive through downtown Annapolis and even braved the frigid air for a stroll through Main Street.
