Sunday evening we came home from Maryland to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. His 70th birthday was last week and he and my mother-in-law were away so the first opportunity for everyone to be together was Sunday evening. Dinner was wonderful, of course, and the girls were on their best behavior for Nonno Mario and helped to make the evening extra special for him.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a picture earlier in the evening when everyone was there, but I did remember to take one right after we sang "Tanti Auguri" and enjoyed some delicious cake! I need some practice holding a wiggly 9 month old and my camera.
