Here comes the bride...
Tanti Auguri to my cousin Jeff and his beautiful bride, Danielle! This past weekend we were in Western Maryland celebrating this joyous event and had a great, great time. Friday night we were in Frederick, Maryland for the rehearsal dinner and it was a lot of fun hanging out with my family and my aunt's family in preparation for the big day.
Cugini!
Jeff and my parents
Jefferino and Zia Mina, bring on the tissues for the next day!
The wedding was in Western Maryland on a large farm. Danielle rode to the willow tree in a horse-drawn carriage escorted by her beaming parents. It was quite an entrance!
I always love watching the groom as he sees his bride walking towards him, so sweet.
Both Jeff and Danielle wrote their vows, time for those tissues!
Uncle Pete, one of his son's groomsmen, watching his youngest child get married.
Junior bridesmaid Grace and the adorable flower girl, the daughter of Danielle's cousin.
It's cocktail hour!!! Scott, Antonio and Anthony have a good ol'time!
Chaela and I, a little more refined than our male counterparts.
Posing in front of the cottage near the barn.
The guys!
Awwwww! Me and my man!
Inside the restored barn for the reception.
Being an English teacher and an avid reader, Danielle had all the tables labeled as books. Not only were the tables marked as books, there were books on the table to go along with the sunflower centerpieces. AND she did all the centerpieces herself along with the programs, place cards, guest book and favor cards.
This is the table Eat, Pray, Love. Best table in the house. Ooops, I mean best table in the barn!
Chaela and I swap out so I can be in the picture too.
Picture time with the new Mr. and Mrs.
Love these guys, so happy for them and honored to have been a part of their day.
Such a fun wedding. Good food, great company and lots of fun dancing the evening away. Honestly, I don't think we sat one song out. My feet were mad at me the next day, but it was well worth it.
All the best to Jeff and Danielle!
